Our November field trip took us to the Underwood Family Farm, located in
Moorpark, California.
We started out with the Produce Picking Tour which took us on a vintage
tractor-drawn wagon ride around the farm. The tractor stopped in the fields
long enough for us to pick an assortment of fresh vegetables that the kids were
able to take home. After enjoying snacks in the shaded picnic area, we were
able to visit the friendly residents of the Farm Animal Center including horses,
cows, pigs, goats, and rabbits - just to name a few.
We hope to return in the spring for the Blueberry Picking Extravaganza!!
